Unlike some people who are hiding the work they had done...you know who you are..:-), Dabota is proud of hers. She's not necessarily talking about it, but she's not hiding it either.

According to a very reliable source, the former beauty queen, model and actress got a nose job (before and after photo above) and also got liposuction (removing fat from the body using suction)

I heard that the procedure, which she got gradually since 2012, cost her a whooping $30, 000.

This week the theme was centred on songs from the greatest groups of all time, from The Temptations to the Pussycat Dolls. The contestants were on fire on Sunday night and with guest judge, first lady of rap Sasha P sitting on the panel, it was truly an amazing night. Sasha told the audience, “I'm waiting to be wowed by everybody...I'm rooting for every one of them and I'm waiting to be entertained.

Beyonce covers March issue of Vogue magazine

In her recent interview with Vogue, Beyonce admits she doesn't read comment sections on websites to avoid getting her feelings hurt...

From Vogue Magazine

BeyoncĂ© cannot insulate herself from every crazy and idle rumor. When she encounters a story about herself on the Internet, she reads only the story. She stops there. She doesn’t let herself scroll down into the comments sections, which have a tendency to become cruel, ad hominem free-for-alls.
“Don’t scroll down!” BeyoncĂ© advises, laughing. “You’re definitely going to get your feelings hurt.”

Just like Uche Jombo R, she will be in Nigeria when she needs to be.

The wedding is this Wednesday or Thursday so my peeps will be there both days to see if we can get photos.

In Nigeria, you're either somebody or nobody - by Adaobi Nwaubani

In Nigeria, you're either somebody or nobody? Please read the article and tell us what you think. Written by journalist and author Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani

In America, all men are believed to be created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. But Nigerians are brought up to believe that our society consists of higher and lesser beings. Some are born to own and enjoy, while others are born to toil and endure.
The earliest indoctrination many of us have to this mind-set happens at home. Throughout my childhood, “househelps” – usually teenagers from poor families – came to live with my family, sometimes up to three or four of them at a time. In exchange for scrubbing, laundering, cooking, baby-sitting and everything else that brawn could accomplish, either they were sent to school, or their parents were sent regular cash.

Attackers behead South Korean doctor, kill two others in Yobe state

Two days after nine health workers were killed in Kano, three doctors were this morning killed in Yobe State.

The Yobe state police commissioner Sanusi Rufai told the AFP news agency that armed men entered the doctors' flat in the town of Potiskum either late last night or early this morning and slit their throats.

They say a South Korean doctor was beheaded while two others - either South Koreans or Chinese had their throats slit.

The doctors worked at the General Hospital in Potiskum and they routinely travelled through the town without security guards. How sad!

Study: Diet soda increases the risk of diabetes. Why do we still drink this stuff?

Here's an article I found online a few days ago. Might be useful info for some of us. See it below...
Yet another study confirms what people have been saying for ages: Stop drinking diet soda. Like, right now. Drinking just one 12-ounce can of an artificially sweetened fizzy drink per week can increase your risk of Type 2 diabetes by 33 percent, French researchers found, and given that most people don't stop at a single weekly serving, your real risk for diabetes could actually be much higher.
